Qualetics Insights can be saved with user filters in the Favorites section of the portal for quick access. The process to create user preferred insights includes navigating to the desired insight, clicking on the favorite-insight button, entering a preferred name in the dialog box, and saving the insight. Saved favorites can be accessed from the Favorites button in the left navigation menu and are grouped under the Client Instance they were created in.
Qualetics insights are always shown in standard preset mode in the Product Analytics, Software Quality Analytics & Search Analytics screens. However, users might want to save insights with their own filters for faster access to their preferred insights.
Such preferred insights are available in Favorites section of the portal once created. The following steps describe the process to create user preferred insights or their Favorites.
In order to generate a Favorite view on any Qualetics Insight using Rest API integration method, use the following steps.
Go to the Visualize View of any Qualetics Insight
Click on the Favorite-insight button (Indicated by a Floppy Disk Icon) below the Visualization
A dialog box is displayed which contains a text box to enter your preferred name to the Favorite insight.
If any filters are applied on the insight while viewing, the filters are automatically carried over while saving the favorite view. In the view above, a specific action was selected while viewing the insight and the action is displayed in the dialog box.
Click on the Save button to save the favorite insight. Once saved, a confirmation message is displayed as shown below.
Favorites are now accessible when clicked on the Favorites button in the left navigation menu
All the saved favorites are available in the favorites page as displayed below.
All Favorites are grouped under the Client Instance they are created under. In oder to view a favorite created under a different client instance or the Master view, use the Client Instance dropdown to change the Favorites view
