Final Step
All Data Machines require a Final Step where the Data Machine attributes such as the Name, Description and desired action of the Data Machine is defined.
As shown in the Creating a New Data Machine section, to create an Final Step, simply drag and drop the Final step from the toolbox in the Editor Grid. Once the Final Step block is added to the Editor grid, the information section to the right of the screen will present the options to configure the step with your desired functionality.
In order to complete the setup of a Final Step, the following information needs to be configured.
Adding a description to the Data Machine is useful as it helps differentiate between the various Data Machines that are created.
A Data Machine can be used in several ways. Here's a list of the different ways Data Machines can be used.
- Execute the Data Machine using Rest API
- Provides a Rest API endpoint to execute the Data Machine. Each endpoint is unique for each Data Machine.
- Setup a Notification (Using Subscriptions)
- Data Machine outputs can be routed to a communication channel such as Email using the Qualetics Subscriptions feature
- Trigger a Web Hook (Using Subscriptions)
- Data Machine outputs can be used to trigger an external endpoint using the Qualetics Webhooks feature
- Save the output of the Data Machine (For later analysis)
